The largest tax cut in history... Most of it aimed at the middle class. And the GOP, as near united block, voted against it.

As much as I was against most of the tax cuts, since we really need the money to bail out the failed republican economy of the bush years, it will be entertaining to watch the GOP try to explain this. You know as well as I do that these campaign ads have already written themselves.

Largest tax cut in history? It's $13 a week... are you kidding me?

If they want to jump-start the economy why don't they just give every American $50,000. It would be less expensive.

Don't be too quick to lay the blame at Bush's feet for the bad economy... Why, when the Bush administration REPEATEDLY warned about Franny/Freddie didn't the DEMOCRATIC Congress do anything? There's lots of blame to go around on this, and it isn't all Bush's fault. Nice try though.

ConnecticutMan1, if you want to continue to rail against the past as justification for the porking we are going to get in the future, fine. Live in the past.

But when does past injustices justify future ones?

Tarring all republicans with GWB is essentially insulting us by calling him a democrat.

We didn't like it when GWB did it to us and we won't like when Pelosi, Reid and Obama do it to us.

What is inconsistent about that?

Connecticutman1 - have you even read the bill? or are you just relying on Democrat propaganda again?

This legislation is more like the biggest union payback in history.

This is about as much stimulus as ice cold water on your crotch.
